During this inspiring event, I was awarded a Merit Award cheque of ₹54,000, graciously handed over by Hon’ble Minister Shri Tinku Roy, Cabinet Minister for Social Welfare & Social Education, Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour Department, Government of Tripura.
This recognition, given under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, is not just a financial award but a powerful message of encouragement for all Divyangjan athletes. It shows that determination, confidence, and hard work matter more than physical limitations.
I express my deep respect and heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the Government of Tripura for valuing merit, promoting inclusivity, and standing strongly with para athletes. Such support inspires us to move forward with greater confidence and hope.
