On 25th January 2026, the 16th National Voters’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Agnibina Community Hall, Belonia, organized by the Office of the District Election Officer (DM & Collector), South Tripura, and the Electoral Registration Officer (SDM), Belonia.
This day became especially meaningful for me as I was felicitated as a Divyang (Person with Disability) Voter.
The honour symbolizes the commitment of our democratic system towards inclusion, equality, and respect for every citizen, irrespective of physical challenges. It was a proud and motivating moment that reaffirmed the belief that every vote matters and every voice counts.
National Voters’ Day reminds us of our constitutional duty and the power of responsible citizenship. I sincerely thank the organizers for recognizing and encouraging inclusive participation in the democratic process.
